We are a diverse group of volunteers who are interested in identifying and recording the frequency and distribution of mushrooms, toadstools and other fungi that can be found throughout Oxfordshire.
Each year we organise forays to the woodlands, grasslands and wetland parts of the county.
Newcomers are welcome to join us, to share in the excitement of finding fungi that are often overlooked and some not previously recorded. Beginners are encouraged, with help from the more experienced members, to learn how to identify fungi.
Our records are entered into the Fungal Records Database of Britain and Ireland (FRDBI), organized by the British Mycological Society.
Please explore our website where information on our fungal forays can be found.
